Ever lose something by mistake?

I've been freaking out all day. I think I misplaced or rather shot out my external hard drive on mistake. I had thousands of pictures on there from many years. I cleaned up last weekend and I think I shot the bag out that had the external hard drive in it last week. I just realized it is missing from my apartment.
I could never recover the stuff on there like pics from the last 8 years that were stored on it.

OMG! After I wrote this thread... I checked on the top of the fridge where I had already looked, but I guess not hard enough.. and voila..I found it!!!! I can't believe it.. LOL.

I was cleaning my table and put a bunch of garbage and possibly my harddrive into the bag. I had it on the floor nad decided to shoot it out a week ago. I then couldn't find my hard drive and was thinking I had put it into that bag and shot it out. So glad I didn't!
