    Coming to town

Coming to Thailand next month and will spend 5 days in bangers before heading to Rayong. I want to have a couple of suits & shirts custom made. I'm considering Narry Bespoke on Suk 11. Anyone familiar with these folks or have a favorite tailor?

I think some of the older members are best to ask about decent places

    ^^ London, Cornwall & Bangkok

Not equally, as hot season gets tiresome and I've got stuff to catch up on here.

I prefer Marks & Spencers easy clean suits and shirts. Tie was bought in Fonthill Road

Thai Master Tailor...K Somboon in Thaniya Plaza. 2nd or 3rd floor amongst all the golf shops. 5 days is probably not enough though.... maybe first fitting and then pick it up on your way back.

    Shop is named Infini.

It's a sixties style mod suit Pat.

This tailor makes it himself Cujo, actually filmed him cutting the cloth for a promotional video.
Took two days and two fittings, cost 3000baht with a discount.
He now has my measurements, I can fire him off a quick email with and he will DHL me a new suit within a week.

    Of course.

You can show them a pic of Versace's latest and they'll do a replica.

Never thought of it that way.

Good luck, of all else fails flip flops , sarong 29 baht each , while Strollers' strides may soon be recycled but will have premium if still warm.

A proper 3 piece lined suit will need 3+ fittings so you may wish to schedule your trip around that

I used to have a job at a calendar factory.
    I got the sack because
I took a couple of days off.

Just leave enough in the budget for shoes, unless you're feeling charitable.

    Local animal sanctuary charity shop.

Looks like they'll be hungry a bit longer with these prices

    7 quid

    15 quid

Could do with a shoe shine Pat.

Carn't beat a bit of value dead man's shoes.

Bought a pair of 100 brogues from a charity shop, nicely broken in

Bet the poor fooker is 6ft under breaking them bad boys in.

Not forgetting the matching cuff links and tie pin OP, also a nicely folded silk handkerchief in the top pocket looks dapper.

A real good quality pair of rhythm & blues are pricey but worth getting a pair that last and importantly, are broken in to fit your own feet.

I've worn ill fitting cheap shoes and had pins & needles in my left big toe all day. The TEFLing life eh
