When I was 40-45, people thought I was 30-35. Now, I'm 52, people think I'm 55+. Weird. Mmust be because I quit drinking and drugging at 35, or maybe having kids and a wife.

It's the misstresses that age ya bud.
Strange, expats think I'm 5 - 7 yrs younger while Thais think I look 5 -7 yrs older.
When I asked my dah-ling how old she thinks "Daddy looks" she replied ,"It doesn't matter how old the gold is , only its worth matters."
I thought that was a pretty insightful reply coming from this lady. I did not push for further clarification or try to elicit a further response as we were exercising.
Thai folks at work thought I was 42 to 45 when I joined. My wifes friends stated about the same when they came over and we got on the subject of age.
Honestly I think it is a combination of 3 or 4 things, clearly how much hair you have and color, if you are clean shaven, how your skin looks, how you dress and behave. I know guys in the states 10+ years younger then me that look, dress and act much older.
Btw...
Maybe its me but that sounds a bit creepy if either of you consider you as "Daddy"....
After a month with that bird last year I told this her I was 41 and not 35.
She looked at me from the side and said ''oh yeah, I can see now''
It's tricky when Thai girls start sleeping over... their toiletries slowly take over the bathroom shelves, and at some stage they might discover the drawer with my passport in it.
