I haven't stated an opinion on that at all. It doesn't matter what I think. The police decided to charge the man, not me. They must have thought the man had broken laws and that they had enough evidence to charge him. And the CPS have prosecuted the guy.

The man has been to court and has admitted his guilt. He will be sentenced soon (31 October). Again, it's all about the English legal system. Nothing to do with Iran or Saudi Arabia. By all means present your "proof" that is is to do with those 2 countries.

Well, since he recovered and got back up, all he sacrificed was one weekend. Not much of a sacrifice. Certainly not big enough to devote one's whole life in gratitude for.
