^ It was British police who who arrested the man and it will be an English court that tries him. Nothing to do with a "muslim govt".

^ I'll take a wild guess and say damaging an armrest is the least serious charge he is facing.

neverna, i usually agree with you about countries like syira (one of the most liberal countries in the middle east for women) being under attack by the saudis and the neo-cons.

but, muslims need to dial it back when it comes to being offended.

even the u.s. is going too far with political correctness, IMO.

Is that another "general" comment, or is it related to the specific airplane incident mentioned in the OP?

pretty sure my previous reply answers that:

    this case for example:

A Saudi businessman was laughed at by flight attendants when he wrote "death to Jesus" on the armrest of his Virgin Airways business class seat because he was angry with the service.

Mohammed, 36, also scrawled an anti-christianity message on a napkin, attacking nuns wearing headscarves, and dropped it between two passengers as the plane landed in Heathrow.

listen, nervana, i understand your point of view, but disagree that westerners or even muslims should be held to the standards of islamic govts like iran and saudi. i like musim govts like malaysia and sryia (before the neocons and saudi decided to attack).

    to be clear IMO:

    1. 911 was an inside job
    2. there were the clean break and pnac plans
    3. iraq and syria have suffered due to the evilness of the neo-cons.

That "case" is something you just made up. It's not a real "case".

To be clear, this thread is about a British man accused of breaking English laws and being tried in an English court. His case has nothing to do with foreign/muslim/Islamic governments, police or legal systems.

No, it's you that's thick. How the hell has this case - a British man accused of breaking English laws and being tried in an English court - anything to do with Iran or Saudi Arabia?

    ...don't you read your links?

Saleh is a serial prankster who frequently makes YouTube videos in which he pull stunts on flights. His YouTube channel features films in which conducts 'experiments' to determine how passengers will respond to travelling alongside Muslims and people speaking Arabic.
