This was on a rainy day at the Milwaukee Lakefront last month.

So that was a pretty interesting area with the vintage street lamps and old road. Were did that road go?

It was a trip when I was a teen. Back then the lakefront was an anything goes zone. The Who, Dr hook and the medicine show all in a hard days night.
Now gentrified , the sky is the limit.

One very important lesson for newcomers. Always make sure after takeoff that you have the RTH point successfully set and the RTH altitude set to be higher than anything that it might encounter on its journey home.

Absolutely. I always wait until it says "The home point has been updated" before I take off. Important it knows where you are.

The Bartolotta family I believe bought the building. Next time I'll fly the drone around it. It's amazing the places on the lake front. Taxes alone will give your heart a throb.

It's long and dull and fully expect a kick in the nuts for posting this but so what. I can't believe the way this drone responds. I've got to put more time into it and get decent so I can make some cool videos with it. I plan to take it to some cool spots so we'll see if I can get good at it. I'm not even going to say master it as that may take years.

Takes a lot of practice to fly smoothly and film smoothly at the same time.

Isn't that truth. I have lost some of my technique not flying and taking vids. I flew the other day to take a few aerial pics of a friends mooban. He had never seen it from the air. Took about 10 stills from 30 meters through 500 meters straight up. Then came down and done.

I need to get out flying again. With Songkran here I need to go buzz a few road parties....

I found the ND filters will stop all that sun wash out reflection.

I video'd the Ko Kha Songkran kick off float festival this morning (My FIL and 2 friends built one of the floats). I will load and post soon. I also took some stills. Had a "Near Miss" with some power lines as I thought they were on the other side of the bridge and they weren't. One of those weird perception angles. HAHAHA

If I ordered a drone from China on Bangood, would there be a problem getting it. I remember some hulabaloo about drones needing registration.

Does "Bangood" deliver your product to wherever you live? I say this because if "Bangood" is a Chinese site, some goods are shipped from Russia or China depending on the supplier.

They ship worldwide and I have ordered from them before. They have warehouses in the US and EU to speed up delivery of popular items in those areas however the majority of their inventory is in China. If you are ordering from LOS you can bet that it will ship from China.

If those small huts in the background are the cabins, wouldn't it be appropriate to fly down to one and video the view, of the lake + mountains, from their front porch? Also the view from the main building outside veranda.

How about flying into the cabin through the door and viewing the interior?

Inside the main building. Even the kitchens, you know some are concerned with immaculate food and cooking area cleanness.

Or have you destroyed too many drones/rooms whilst on previous commissions?

Maybe Davis can summarize the pitfalls of flying a helicopter into a house or any other stationary object be it a book end or whatever. However I see where you're going with those pointers.

Some GPS controlled drones handle indoor flying better than others.
I don't know about the Karma, but I'd never fly my Mavic inside.

Start with a football stadium. Then a sports hall, opera theatre, a large house, a room and lastly, from underneath a squeaky bed and popping up to surprise the occupants, trailing a "Surprise, Surprise" banner.

Depending of course how quiet your drone is.

I wasn't wondering about how Bangood ships, I get stuff from them occasionally, it comes to my door.
I was wondering if customs would interfere because its a drone and they brought in some rules about drones.

The latter and karmas (indeed) won't attempt to fly indoors, but will redirect.

PS: The sequence is a gopro app (pairs w/ Iphone) - I didn't edit shit.

Hick how do you like that gopro? I looked into it online and it has mixed reviews at best compared to the Mavics. How is it working for you?
