Thread: Thai food looks like shit

A dessert shop in Thailand has caused a bit of a stink by rolling out poo-shaped puddings.



The bakery in Putham Thani has become an unlikely attraction after the treats became a hit with locals.

Cruel parents appear to be sitting their children down in front the unsavoury snack and one filmed the result - a little boy gagging as he puts the sweet in his mouth.

The pudding from the Wilaiwan Dessert shop proved to much for the boy, who threw up almost immediately after eating it.

Owner Mee-Nguen said customers flocked to the bakery to take pictures of the jelly-based treat which is made with a special human waste-shaped cast.

They may look unappetising, but they are made from coconut milk and fruit syrup.

Obviously just a cheap marketing ploy, to differentiate their crap from the masses.

I'm old fashioned when it comes to my food.. I think it should be respected in the context of all our senses (including sight). I don't want my food to look like a penis, or a turd, thanks.. it's not artistic, or clever.. it's just crass...

In the Republic of Western Canada on the prairies, the cattle ranchers came up with a good one for chocolate...

Received a huge chocolate cow pie for Christmas one year...Came in a square chocolate box...Little bow, and all...Great idea...
