British tourists held for toy shop theft on Koh Samui

Four British nationals, aged between 20 and 27, under arrest on theft charges at a luxury resort on Koh Samui in Surat Thani province on Monday

SURAT THANI - Four British nationals have been arrested and charged with the theft of goods worth about 50,000 baht from a toy shop on the tourist island of Koh Samui.

Police seized the four men at a seaside resort in tambon Bo Phud, in Koh Samui district, on Monday.

They also seized stolen items, including an aerial drone, a game disk, an iPhone charger and a radio-controlled car, worth about 50,000 baht in total, police said.

The goods were reported stolen from a toy shop in tambon Mae Nam around 9pm on Sunday by four men who fled in a white Fortuner car. They were filmed by a security camera inside the shop.

The four tourists admitted to having stolen the items, according to police, and were charged with theft.

They were identified as Chace Kylen Rudy, 21, Korri Nathaniel George, 27, Hilton Mhasvi, 20, and Saul James Ahmed, 20.

While police were still questioning them, an employee at another hotel arrived at the resort and accused the four tourists of failing to pay a food and drinks bill of 69,000 baht.

He told police the tourists had checked into two rooms for three nights and paid the 60,000 baht cost via an agency. On Sunday night they had ordered meals and drinks, including foreign whisky priced at 29,000 baht a bottle.
Afterwards, one of them had paid the 69,000 baht bill with a credit card, but the payment failed. The tourists then said they would pay the bill on Monday, but instead fled the hotel on Sunday night. After negotiations, the suspects agreed to pay the bill.

They were held in police custody for legal action.

According to Thai media reports, the men tried unsuccessfully to bribe the arresting officers.

The cost of the rooms at the luxury seaside resort where they were caught was reported to be 35,000 baht a night. They had booked the room for five days, but were arrested and taken away. The card used to pay the food and drinks bill was also reported to be fake.

in the uk, assuming the police could even be bothered to forsake their paperwork for half an hour and arrest these lowrent scumbags, the chances are they would receive a community order at most, i.e. ordered to perform some form of community service for 50 or so hours after state funded lawyers pleaded their case and painted a picture of them as the downtrodden victims of a terrible upbringing, and to be pitied for the lack of employment opportunities available to them and the constant abuse and persecution they will have suffered as a result of their curly hair, thick lips and in at least one case, an aversion to pork products whilst they saved their benefit handouts and drug peddling bunce to finance a holiday in thailand.

but hopefully, here, they will feel the full vindictive force of the thai judicial and penitentiary system.

at the end of the day, they are criminals, taking what is not theirs, and the harsher the punishment, the less likely they are to steal again.

take them down. next case please.

Quite, and yet right now they are probably in a cell with 50 others, shocked at what is happening to them, and praying to their mums to come to save them.

The British appear to be getting darker in color, strong sun over there, global warming perhaps.

They will certainly be getting a holiday to remember, one which could well be extended.

The face of the new Multicultural Britain. The Indigenous Brits must be so pleased to have been able to attract such fine upstanding citizens like this to widen their gene pool as they commit cultural suicide.

Not only that but a new code of conduct has been culturally developed to replace the old Victorian manners, Victorians denied having sex. Sex was not mentioned in polite Victorian society, even though they where having large families.
Today in British society it is polite not to mention physical differences, we are all the same.

Checking that their manicures, they didn't pay for at the Spa in the resort, aren't ruined.

I like the way they are all colour coordinated in their clothes.
