Thread: American Airlines Flight attendant ‘hit mum with pushchair then kicked her off plane’

An American Airlines flight attendant left a mother in tears after allegedly whacking her with a stroller and then kicking her off the plane.


The woman had just boarded a flight yesterday afternoon from San Francisco to Dallas when the shocking incident took plane.
Passengers on board Flight 591 claim the attendant had ‘violently’ taken the buggy from the lady, who had twins, hitting her and just missing one of the babies.
‘They just in-voluntarily escorted the mother and her kids off the flight and let the flight attendant back on, who tried to fight other passengers.
‘The mom asked for an apology and the AA official declined.’
The footage shows a male passenger stepping in to defend the mother and telling the attendant:
‘Hey bud, you do that to me and I’ll knock you flat.’
The attendant responds ‘you stay out of this’ as the passenger steps forward and then challenges him to a fight.

He can be heard shouting: ‘Hit me, c’mon, bring it on! C’mon, you don’t know what the story is.'
The passenger responds: ‘I don’t care what the story is, you don’t hurt a baby.’
The woman is eventually escorted off the flight following the altercation but the attendant is allowed back on the plane.

In a statement, American Airlines condemned the flight attendant’s behaviour and said an investigation had been launched.
They said: ‘What we see on this video does not reflect our values or how we care for our customers.

When are airline employees going to realize people are taking video of their every move? Really stupid to not give good customer service at this point.

There are better ways of getting upgraded to first class.

People should be licensed before they should be allowed to fly on passenger aircraft .
A course of parachute jumping out of a Hercules to attain the licence should be enforced .Period

According to American Airlines, the woman tried to bring a double-wide stroller down the aisle of a single-aisle A321. The airlines said she did speak English, and she had flown from Argentina to the U.S. but forgot she needed to check in the stroller and tried to bring it on the plane with her.
The airline said it upgraded the woman and her kids to first class for the flight to Buenos Aires. She is in Argentina now.
The airlines said they agreed that the flight attendant shouldn’t have gotten in the face of a passenger. He has been put on paid leave while an investigation is underway.

The lady doesn't sound like a chav as some of you bigoted oinks have suggested, rather a struggling mum with two little children, bags etc, trying to board a plane.

The flight attendant did not "get in the face" IMO, the passenger got out of his seat twice and threatened him. Guy thought he was Charles Bronson.
