    Satanic Scotland

Dramatic drop in church attendance in Scotland - BBC News

The number of people who regularly attend church services in Scotland has fallen by more than half over the last 30 years, according to a new survey.
A census of Scottish Christians found that there are around 390,000 regular churchgoers north of the border, down from 854,000 in 1984.
The research also revealed that 42% of churchgoers were aged over 65.
One leading cleric said the findings presented a "crisis and an opportunity" for Christians in Scotland.

Is Nicola Sturgeon the anti-Christ ? Forget a referendum. Chuck them out now, the spawn of the Devil !

There was an article in the BBC earlier this month about Ireland. Seems Christianity is out of fashion these days.

Dramatic fall in Irish religious belief

    6 April 2017

The number of people in the Republic of Ireland who identify as having no religion has increased by 73.6%, according to the latest census figures from the Central Statistics Office.

The number of people who stated they had no religion increased from 269,800 to 468,400, the census found.

Some 3,729,100 people identified as Catholic - 78.3% of the population - compared to 84.2% in April 2011.

The census was held in April 2016; its details were released on Thursday.

The number of people identifying as members of the Church of Ireland dropped by 2% to 126,400.

There were 63,400 Muslims in the state compared to 49,200 in 2011 - a percentage change of 28.9%.

Orthodox Christianity saw a rise of 37.5% to 62,400 adherents, while the number of Hindus rose by 34.1% to 14,300 practitioners.

I thought of that possibility earlier today but there are also some similarities with David44.

The Bible bashers and God botheres visited my son's high school last month giving them all pocket sized bibles.
Some were flung on the roof, most were dumped in the urinals.
They all thought it was hilarious, good for them.

My mother, in Edinburgh, moved house a couple of years ago. She went once to the Kirk across the road. She said it was too modern and "happy clappy" and the minister didn't wear a dog collar and he played the guitar!!

We ate a couple of times at their Tea Room and I noticed there were a lot of young people helping out. Maybe the atmosphere is too young for her. She's 87.

It's not that she went every Sunday to Church, this one is the only one she can walk to. The one where she used to go is too far, about 20 minutes drive.
