Thanks. If I ever need a doctor I know not to seek advice from Christiane Northrup, M.D. I bet she (he?) also lights candles for some things and probably has hairy breasts like the woman above.

Not many people realise that the amount of blood that is excreted is about a teaspoonfull per 12 hours. That's why the cups and tampons work. It's really a small amount. If the good Dr Northrup wants to connect the moon's gravitational effect on the tides to the moon's gravitational effect on menstrual flow, she should also draw a connection with digestion (and maybe weight loss/gain) since various digestive juices are much more abundant than menstrual flow. More saliva is produced in a few minutes than menstrual discharge in a day.
