Another view of Varanasi;
Then there's the Nagar Sadhus' Kumbh Mella;
What a bunch of jolly gentlemen, chilums akimbo!
(It could be Allahabad, not Varanasi,...not sure)
Om nama Svayah...
Translation given as,
"Its translation is "salutations (namas) to Shiva", preceded by the mystical syllable "Aum". The syllable "ya" at the end of the mantra denotes an offering.
Thus the mantra Om Namah Sivaya actually means "I offer to Siva a respectful invocation of His Name",
Om Namah Shivaya mantra is sung by devotees in prayers and recited by yogis in meditation. It is associated with qualities of prayer, divine-love, grace, and blissfulness."

“Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’? John 10:34.
Aghori Sadus,...
This at Gauhati, Assam, but these Sadhus also roam the burning ghats at Varanasi.
Yes, I went to Varanasi or Banares as it was more commonly called in 1992.
Very spiritual place.
