These scams get weirder by the day. Not only do I get the widow's money in this one but the 12 y/o daughter too.

It took me time and divine intervention to write you this mail as we
have never had any correspondence before. Actually, I got your e-mail
from the online classified posted on the net.
My name is BAR.Chas Robert. I am an attorney to mrs Janet Oslo
here in Senegal west Africa. Who is currently very sick with an effected cancer
on her brest.
There is an urgent need for my contacting you as I recently have been
opportuned to have access to US$8,500,000.00(eight million five hundred
thousand United States Dollars Only). Access to this fund is made
available by this woman who happens to be a cancer patient in the hospital for some
months now. She is well known in this community and aside being a major
real estate agent she is a magnet in environmental management and was a
lisencened oil merchant before now.
Unfortunately she has been living and struggling with breast cancer for
close to 14 months now though she is unmarried. She has a 12yrs old
daughter.Whom she made a will to this amount.

She has been through a first operation and still to undergo a final
operation within the next few days.

Based on my last discussion with her yesterday afternoon on the future
of her daughter should she not be lucky. She said that the fund should be
invested. Unfortunately I'm definitely not in a position to run things
which is why I seek your assistance in taking control of managing the fund.
The fund was deposited in a security company in Europe.I have every details about the fund
in my chamber and how this fund will be released.
I have resolved with her on an agreement that will be drawn up by you
on a yearly charge that will be paid to you for taking control and managing
the fund while half of the proceed will be given for the development of
treatment of cancer patients. The rest will remain with you for the up
keep of her daughter. I will also like to know if you can take the young
girl.

I pray you to be of assistance to this course and I'd like to add that
sometimes I receive unsolicited mails so I hope mine does not come as
an embarrassment to you but if it does please accept my apologies

My niece is selling her car & placed an advert on the internet. All she has heard from is scammers with all sorts of stories. She's only young & phoned me up saying, "This woman [telephone] has said if I give her &#163;100 she has three buyers for the car at asking price. Another guy [email] has said if I give him my bank details he will wire the money", all sorts of shit.

The thing is, she was going to go for the &#163;100 one. I've stopped it now, obviously, but there are people out there who fall for this kind of shit every day.

Take your pick: it costs the scammers nothing to try, they need to succeed only once to turn a profit, there are enough mugs out there to fall for the oldest and most obvious scams, and even more for those with a novel twist.

How, exactly, would God direct ones attention to the online-classifieds section?

Send a plauge of locusts to type the address into the browser just so? Part your PC to exactly the right spot? Cause the PC to burst into flame, talk, demand that he sacrifice his son, and then say: 'Ha! Just kididng, it was a test... here, look at these classifieds'. Is God even PC-literate?

These questions and more demand answers! I think you should email back and ask him.

He apparently works in mysterious ways. Just recently I have come to understand this to be entirely tue.

Divine intervention would ideally mean that the writer got cancer, and the recipient kept their money.
