Thread: Blackgang meets Frankie and Thetyim

Went to CM for the renewal, nice trip, cept that 30 minutes down the road, we found out that my passport wasnt in the car, so left home twice that morning at 0700 and again at 0800.
Nice trip up tho, not to many brain dead folks on the roads that day.
Got into CM and had my new 1 years permit to stay by 1400,
Got a hotel and dug up F Frankies phone number, he invited us out to dinner at a place he knew, had a nice meal and a few hours of bullshitting while his super lady and my wife went to night market.
Glad I met him, he is a sterling guy as I knew he be would once I found out he was a member of the brotherhood and they do not vary much.
Made a plan to get together again in the near future.

Left after breakfast and drove down to Phayo and due to Thetyim's excelent directions, drove right up to his house.
Now he is the typical Englishman that I have met and remember from working with them on jobs around the place.
Another man of sterling character and wonderful personality, impeccable manners and English charm.
His wife is also a real jewel and they are fine people, deserving of each other.
They took us to a nice place for lunch, overlooking the arroyo and the green country, food was Thai but very good, served by 2 lovely 6 foot Katoeys with voices like Louie Armstrong, but it was raining like hell and a long ways home, so after lunch we bid farewell and made a promice to return for a longer period in a few months.

So it was a well spent 2 days and a long trip but worth it to have met 2 such fine familys, The best I have met in the years I have lived here.

Meeting good people makes these trips so much fun, and Frankie and Thetters are two of the best.

Nothing like that CMN, I didn't phone Frankie til almost 1730 and then we got together, and with the women wanting to roam, we talked til damn near midnite when they returned and we left the next morning.I do plan on meeting you next trip, maybe november we will return.
