    Classic Asian LOGIC

Thinking it will make her happy I buy my Sandra's family a rice cooker so they can cook rice which isn't a solid cake blackened at the edges, tin opener so they don't have to 'stap and bend' tins of that awful Century Tuna anymore, and a microwave so they can reheat. The tin opener is not a problem and the rice cooker is "Nice and light, not heavy at the back and light at the front", the problem however, arises with the microwave as to where in the kitchen to put it.

Does she put it on top of the fridge like I suggest?

    Nope.

Does she put it on the bendy shelf next to the toaster?

    Nope.

Does she put it on the side next to the sink?

No, she puts it in the fucking living room area behind the (wooden) sofa on the telephone table.

    I'm not even gonna try.

^^ I like to cook decent food so I generally don't use them.

Notice there's no flash flashback on the microwave door... That's because I have a Samsung NV10 and a steady hand.

From my experience of being married with a peasant I would say the living room is a better place to show off.

If you mean what I think you mean then it's partly because I am more mongrel than fox and also because I don't want to have spoiled brat kids like the hi so black swans that marry rich guys.

First time mrs k put a mug of milk in the micro it overflowed, she squealed, and of course ended up having to clean one helluva mess as I explained that hot milk rushes to the boil, and later ran a demo on the electric ring to show her. Then, next time she heated a mug of milk in the micro...
