I want to get one for her new car but it's got to be simple and very user friendly cos I'm technically challenged.
Cheap is good too. :)

Google maps on my phone as worked a treat.
Having just got back from Aus I gave her my phone and asked her to bury it. Fucin useless.
Well the phones OK but I can't seem to get it to understand me so I reckon anything to do with phones out.
I'd like something that sits on the dash board and talks.

Garmin then In that case.
I bought my Ram products from them. They have a decent selection to suit all vehicles.
Garmin eh. I'll have a look. Cheers.
I bought one off 'AliExpress' from China. It included video player/radio etc. It was brilliant, easy to use as well as being cheap. Wish I'd kept it.
Now have the factory fitted one from Toyota and it's too complicated and I struggle with it.
Did you pay extra for that or did it come with the car?Quote:

And bang up to date information on accidents, delays, etc.
It works in Thailand, because I follow my taxi drivers' routes on it, and it does the same thing.

Any of the newer Samsung phones are great. But if you really like an independent unit then the one thing I recommend is making sure it uses Google maps. Some of the others are shocking. They can be sub-par and companies often charge you for map updates, which is bullshit.

Garmin are also the most expensive if that means anything. Also if ordered through Amazon, Ebay etc shipping and customs are not included in the price and I know from experience that on some items that can double the price.
I have ordered an XGODY 5" Car Truck GPS Navigation Navigator SAT NAV 8GB HD Display Free Map.
Hasnt arrived yet so cant comment on efficiency, price under 1500b with free shipping from Ebay
Mrs OPPO phone works well as GPS but sometimes loses signal particularly over 100kmh and in remote areas as it depends on phone signal.
Perhaps I'll get my tech savvy mate to set up google maps on the miserable treacherous piece of shit phone I was forced into buying. :)
That sounds like a pretty good deal. I'll look into them. Cheers.Quote:

Well if a smart phone is too technical I personally don't think you should be in charge of driving a metal death robot weighing several tons. Get a bus pass...
Do fuck off multi nick!!! You cant even tell the truth.... Plus CJ is a friend you cretin.Quote:
