I'm searching for Air Asia's so called 70% discounted seats.
Everything so far is the same price as it was last month and the month before

    What a surprise.

Here's a sample of what Air China's UK site are offereing during december.
Now that is what a real bargain looks like.

    London to Bangkok return

Decent airline, last 2 times had 3 seats to myself both ways. It's not the horror show many would have you believe.
    Stopover isn't too long either.

    BA Bloody awful

Old trouts will now serve economy Brits

British Airways is dropping its long-standing promise of “a complimentary snack or meal and bar service” for all passengers.

As The Independent revealed in May, economy travellers on short-haul flights will instead be offered the chance to buy snacks and drinks.

The new policy comes into effect on 11 January, on almost all flights under five hours to and from Heathrow and Gatwick. Marks & Spencer has been chosen to supply the food, which is priced slightly above High Street prices: a Ploughman’s sandwich that costs £2.25 on the ground is one-third more expensive on BA, at £3. A cup of tea will cost £2.30, and a gin and tonic £6.

Alex Cruz, who became BA’s chairman and chief executive earlier this year, said: “Today’s project is in reaction to customer response around choice and quality. We have been requested by thousands and thousands of passengers who want to have choice, and not just be given something of potentially questionable quality.”

I checked the China air add for december to SFO, could not find a flight under a thousand bucks. I got both kids home this summer in high season for 1700 return. One LAX one SFO.

Not nearly the deals as Pat displayed to the UK

I just put in the same dates for Air China but the other way round, Bangkok to London return.

Prices are a bit different. Not sure how this works......
