    Another Dave Bites the dust

David Cameron announces he is resigning as MP, triggering byelection - Politics live

I have thought about this log and hard over the summer and I have decided the right thing to do is to stand down as the member of parliament for Witney. There will be a byelection. I will give the Conservative candidate my full support
I used to have a job at a calendar factory.
    I got the sack because
I took a couple of days off.

Good on him, a decent thing for him to do, let's hope in his by-election UKIP take the seat of the Former Prime Minister.

    Porcine evacuation declared in Witney.

    Cameron blew (blue! Ha!) it.

He used the stupid kippers to get himself into office and then took his ball home when things didn't go his way.

Nig El-Farage is the same - he was a one trick pony and ran away when it became clear that he might have to take responsibility for something and actually do some work.

    Look on the bright side:

His legacy might be triggering the break up of the UK and sticking his todger in a dead pig's head so he's managed to achieve what Hitler and Napoleon only dreamed about (I'm not sure about the last one and Napoleon but he did have froggish tendencies).

The history books will record him well now that he has resigned to spend more time with his directorships and Saint Theresa starts rewriting them for her grammar schools.

Congrats and fear not heroic brexiteers: No longer will Britons chafe under the tyranny of banana regulations!

actually liked the guy.... he always came across as very dedicated and seemed to work well with everyone....including those this side of the pond.
Some might say his career ended in failure but giving the nation the right to decide is not failure. That's how it should work no matter how much it hurts.

Sam Cam must be delighted she no longer has to travel on Easyjet. I wonder if the kids are in private schools yet?

Easyjet vs Learjet... Hmmm tough call

The kids are probably still sitting in a pub waiting for mater and pater to pick them up.
