Be Charitable to the Mercy Centre in Bangkok

    Hi

If anyone has a homestay or villa or is involved in a hotel / resort, or
even knows someone who is, may I please invite you to join our unique
reservations directory; our only charge is 5% commission (after tax and
service is factored out) on any realised reservations that come from us. We
are unique in many ways but primarily because the accommodations owners do
not pay us; they pay the Mercy Centre in Bangkok, a needy children's
    charity.

We send out statements to the various hotels, etc. each month which details
any enquiries made via our site with the prospective check out date in that
month. We work on trust and honour and ask hotels, etc. to reply saying if
any of those people stayed and what our 5% commission therefore is. Once the
amount owed to us goes above US$100, we ask the accommodations provider to
pay The Mercy Centre (their Thai bank account) and advise us; this makes
sure accommodations providers are not going to the bank every month to pay
    small amounts.

Thank you to admin for allowing me to post this here; for your information
the Thai Expat Forum (Thai Visa) said "no" because it conflicted with their
commercial interests! Our web site is Ethical Hotels, Villas & Tourism for Bali & Thailand - you will find
all details and a registration page there. Accommodation providers are
encouraged to enter their own property's details themselves so as not to miss
anything / do the best job; the admin area for this is very easy.

    Thanks in advance

'We work on trust & honour?'

A worthy cause, I'm sure, but doomed.

Great charity - sent some dosh to them on a number of occasions. I don't care for the religious aspect, but helping lil ones is very worth while.

At least DD is showing he has a heart. The same OP was posted in TV and it got deleted because it contravened the rule about seeking donations.
Meanwhile, George is spending a fortune on TV parties around the Kingdom where at least half the guests used their first post to inform that they would be attending.
Seems supporting blatent free-loaders is more important than giving to a good cause.

I understand George's point of view - seems like this is a constant ask for donations. Nothing wrong with that, but seems a bit touchy for some people. They give on their own accord without being asked for it.

Maybe someone can pay for ad space or sponsorship??? Then it wouldnt be a conflict as such.

If this was TV we'd be deleting your post as well Sir Burr.

same here. fuck, these kids have been abandonned (some sick) for years. most important thing is to get them alive and healthy. most of them kids don't probably even know what a religion is.

TV have deleted Mercy Centre in Pattaya appeal threads. i believe this has pissed quite a few people off.
