    Speaking English

I have just put my PS2 up for sale on a Korea website. I;m not playing on it anymore so it's time to sell.

A lad contacted me fairly quickly via PM wanting to buy it today . He knew that I lived close to him.

Being the kind chap that I am I emailed him back with my number and said that I was geographically challenged and didn't know my way around. Told him where I was located

The lad rang me to find out if I could meet him at a subway station. There ain't no subway stations around here. There will be in the near future but not just now. The closest ones (which i think he was talking about) are 20 minutes from here. I don't actually know where though or how to get to them. I have an idea but I ain't sitting on the wrong bus to get to the wrong place.

The poor lad was obviously rather frustrated that I had no idea what he was saying to me when he said the Korean names of places to me or local landmarks.

This is the first time I have spoken English to anybody other than the missus for two weeks (the lad I bought the xbox off yesterday but that was only a quick grunt to say it was ok and handed him some cash).

Fuck me I couldn't string a coherent sentence together. I couldn't be fucked to either. told the lad that I know where the bus station is and if he wants it I can meet him there otherwise I will put it in a box under my bed.

    too much fucking effort.

I think I need to start either learning korean so that I can at least speak to some people or start being a bit more sociable (or join a church)

I downloaded Pimsleur Korean onto my computer from Limewire, and I think it's very good.

Yes, motivation is a big factor.

Well, whatever works for you. Maybe you can just learn some of the important high-frequency words.

I know about 20 Korean words, but they're not important ones.

"See-bal, bahnji, khana" F-you, fart, chocolate.
