I can only speak from my experience in Indo as I have friends married to Indonesians.

Technically ? yes. In practice no. Lots of guys in Indo marry locals. I think it depends on whether you want a Muslim ceremony or how the family feels etc.

Technically convert to Islam. Get an Islamic name like Mohamed or.. The name in your passport stays the same as you are not an Indo citizen.

Technically a male has to be circumcised but it is not enforced, if you happen to be the way you were born.
