Best Comfort Bangkok Hotel at Sukhumvit 19
Was ~1,500B when I stayed there, incldg breakfast (not fancy, but ok for me), booked via Agoda
Near Robinsons & Terminal 21 malls (so lots of food & shopping choices)
    Near Asoke metro station
Near a beer garden (forgot the name, didn't drink there)
Near Soi Cowboy (I think, didn't go there)
There's a small pool & gym at the top floor of the hotel (which was nice, for me)
Don't know if they have room service
It's across a big condo building, residential area, fairly quiet
Massage parlors, Family Mart & hostels along the way

Not making any assumptions, but is "guest friendly" a requirement?

Guest friendly is a given in Bangkok I think...

Guest list already sorted thanks if that was your next question.
Room needs to be plush enough for the long haul and big enough to swing a kitten, or two

Jeeze. Try do someone a solid, and this is what you get.

Some places will charge you extra for an unregistered guest. Some will not.

    I am out. Have fun.

Grand Centre Point has a great pool and is within spitting distance of Cowboy too.

If you want somewhere nice with a proper kitchen and not far from the boy the Grand Mercure on soi 19 is a big plush 1 bedroom and great value.

Whats your budget? If youre gonna spend most of your time in your hotel then get a nice one

Nah... hotel is just looking out for Dill in case he got roofied and arse raped.. little did the staff know that Dill never lodged any complaints, in fact he was known around Cowboy to be quite generous with the leaving fee in such cases.

Oh dear, I hope this doesn't mean another epic meltdown and a few days spent belligerently calling everyone a cnut on the forum before swearing never to set foot in Thailand / on the forum again.

On second thought maybe I do, that was quite entertaining!
