I agree entirely with Davis' post. I am not a conservative.

You should be fired. However, my liberal tendencies might persuade me to reprimand you and assign you to more suitable work with a period of close monitoring and perhaps disciplinary probation.
Munted ... Where does being a suck up fall on your liberal vs conservative spectrum ...

Have no doubt about it Munted is an uber cool radical freedom fighter. He will be remembered and revered a la Che, Nelson etc.

The bus steering alcoholic "get your ride free" gimp is my hero.

No. I'm giving you a chance to do a job correctly. You don't have to take the chance. By all means resign. Or just wait to be fired for incompetence.

    Tickets please.

My Grandad was a bus driver. He died peacefully in his sleep. Unlike his passengers, who died screaming hysterically.

As usual you miss the point.

The anti-capitalist revolution isn't made by the Che's of the world. It's made by the individual actions of individuals who act according to their conscience. Mutiply my act of non-compliance by a good number of thousands of other individuals and you have a revolution.

Now if you are waiting for a saviour, guru or master to tell you what you should or should not do, you have become a bum boy of the 1 percent. Correction: you are a bum boy of the 1 percent.

In the The Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Napoleon, Karl Marx described the 'lumpen-proletariat' as being the cannon fodder of a fascist movement. In present day USA the 'lumpen-proletariat' are basically what many would call, a nasty, inaccurate, but popular term, as 'trailer trash', who by most accounts are big supporters of Trump. If I was a US citizen I would too vote Trump. Yes I am a NZ equivalent to trailer trash but beyond that I would relish encouraging the transition to a second American Civil War.

That's a good joke. Another amongst the bus driving fraternity. It would be a perfect job if you didn't have to pick up any passengers.

I would be annoyed as I am unable to benefit from your generosity. As I would be full fare paying passenger with no seat, on a bus full of scruffy students and old people who smell of piss.
Give yourself a good talking to.

The thing to do is to feign a bad leg and I will tell one of the scruffy students to give up their seat to you.

To be honest I try to avoid public transport because users are often unpleasant chavs. Just pointing out one of the flaws in your ad hoc passenger selection.

I don't mind unpleasant chavs. They are much less pretentious than the pleasant ones.

It could not be more crystal clear to me. I live in a big city and ride the bus. I never had to commute to work for years until the last week. I took a job that was to good to resist. So know I am back to the grind. It is bus drivers like you I respect. Green owed mate.

In the words of the late great Frank Zappa "don't make a fuss, just get on the buss."

I'm a yank so when I'm done doing all the other crap that I'm supposed to I may just shoot me guns. You know keep them ready for Armageddon or the next civil war.

    I like Trump

I think he will make a better president than Billary Clinton who will no doubt a Merkel will the immigrants and also fagotize USA even more .

Maybe trump would make a great bus driver too, and do all the things in opening post and more :

Open the doors mid bus stop, eg at traffic lights, to lets passengers disembark.

Drive off route to take old folk home.

Drive right past waiting Muslims so no-one gets blown up

Ban gays from traveling so passengers don't have to smell HIV.

Thanks man I always prefer to put passengers before the owner's profit. Except when the inspector is prowling. Makes the job interesting. Hope the job is going well.

You get the idea. Whatever you can do to subvert the rules, 'tis a start. Just a little DIY to add to the accumulating maelstrom of chaos and anarchy. It need not make headlines.

If Trump is elected the 'liberal/progressive' agenda will live on but not only through passive resistance. There will be a more agressive reaction from many who will not tolerate racism, xenophobia and intolerance from the oval office.

Anything for a free ride. Is your salary so poor you can't afford bus fare? How sad.
PS Thanks for the critique and the red thing.

All of which are raised to the Nth degree by the one percent and their politicians. Now if we could get to the more aggressive reaction from those who will not tolerate capitalism... otherwise just flogging a dead horse. But anything to split apart the middle ground would be a good start.
