    I had 2 dogs when I got burgled. They both got poisoned. It was more distressing to lose the dogs than actually being burgled. Dogs here are not a good method to keep unwanted people off your property.

    ^ No chance of that. But I would like to know if there is a school where I can learn how to use a knife for self defence.

    You'll be hard pushed to find a school that will show you how to use a knife and fork.

    Might be a job opportunity there. Like train up a few Thai guys & your SAS guy can (discretely) manage them. It wouldn't be illegal if the weapons themselves are legal.

    Think that may be a bit of an assumption. Would check carefully the relevant laws first.

    And to point out the obvious, just because such weapons are openly sold, it does not make them particularly "legal".
