You are ignorant (as proven time after time), and it's fukwits like you that bring in the money that supports these practices. Without ignorant fukwits like you, paying to support these practices, they would cease to exist...

Unusual for it to be swimming in salt water. There must not have been much to eat on the smaller island.
Or IT was running away from being eaten.
Twice in my life I have come across a wild pig swimming from one island to another.

I've seen loads of them in the wild- cobra, king cobra, krait, pit viper, rat snake, Burmese python (in Mabprachan, Pattaya- Monster!), lots of others. I suppose it helps to live in the wild.

But I don't like animals being teased and goaded for tourist fun. I would have been no fan of bull and badger baiting back in the days either.
Yep, exactly. There aren't many "animal shows" in Thailand that are not cruel, tawdry, and exploitative. With the recent influx of all those "quality tourists", they seem to be on the rise as well.

I'm pretty tolerant, but this is one of the things that makes me see red.

I hope I am never present when some ignorant Mainland Chinese pokes or goads a caged animal.

If it is able to strike back...and does, I will most likely let out a huge laugh, and if it is not, I will probably poke, goad or hit the offending person, then laugh outrageously and point at him when he reacts.
