Poorest was Myanmar.
Cambodia was the most depressing

But for overall crappiness.......Philippines.

Really they're all borderline failed states

east malaysia is very nice though, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching, Labuan etc. Not so many muslims there as in peninsular malaysia

I cant remember how much they said they were earning but it was peanuts.

It's a close draw between Cambodia and the Phils, I like both for a holiday, though.

I've been around a bit now and The Phils is the only place that has caused me to miss not only England but also Thai food.

That has to be pretty crappy.
