Now most alts are tied to BTC and ETH, but in the next 3 months you will see lightning network and FairX out of beta

The hard bit will be making it user friendly so it is just point and shoot

Also a large hurdle to overcome is security of crypto on phones

France, Germany to propose global cryptocurrency rules
French Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire says Germany and France will submit proposals for regulation of cryptocurrencies to the Group of 20. Le Maire and his German counterpart say global rules for digital currencies are necessary to deal with tax evasion, money laundering and other criminal activities.

Financial watchdogs are going through the cryptocurrency market with a 'fine tooth comb'

SEC, CFTC step up pressure on cryptocurrencies
The Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission have issued a joint statement underlining intentions to take firm action against fraud in cryptocurrency transactions and initial coin offerings. The statement emphasizes commitment to examining cases in detail, with one trader who has received an SEC inquiry saying regulators are sifting through projects with "a fine-toothed comb."

All these dinosaurs who are all in a tizzy about crypto

Where was all the denouncing of offshore tax havens

They will find out soon enough that their understanding of crypto is similar to their predecessors understanding of the Internet

There will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth and as they are already doing they will equate crypto with criminals and terrorists. But they do not control the information channels anymore so will slip under the waves still yelling for their manservants to remove the young people from the lawn

comparing the two, that's like the new golwin rule of the forum losers

the web was far more ambitious than silly crypto, soon to be forgotten when AI will become mainstream

how about a AI crypto, whatever the fuck that would mean, but who care, they are all buying on names and perceptions

How many projects do you reckon they could sift through with 'a fine toothed comb', and would that be more, or less than the non-crypto fraud and corruption and laundering investigations that are already backlogged and growing?
