^^^ Is there a staking pool, I only have about 35 DCR, so I cant stake solo. Sounds like it is cheaper to get the miner now, depending on what you get from mining per month.

If I put in the specs for the DCR miner I get a crazy answer on the link. 1GH/s = 1000 Mh/S right? so 1500 GH/S is 1,500,000 MH/s? If I put in those numbers I get a crazy answer. How many DCR do you mine a month with your miner if you dont mind me asking?

Rational calcs say about 25 DCR a month for batch 1 which will have a 6 week grace period before batch 2 is released

But again. All is speculation. Who knows who else is developing asics

As I pointed out in my first post about DCR asics. It is a gamble

dcrasic is the only known competitor today but they recently announced that they
won't state a delivery date for them.
Their ASIC is to be made in 10nM technology which is both faster and less power hungry than
the Obelisk ASIC which is made in 28nM tecnology.
Making an ASIC in 10nM is much more difficult so it is quite possible that dcrasic has ran into problems causing
them a long delay before they can market it.

^ after looking at it further I am going to hold off on the miner until obelisk actually delivers a working product. as baldrick says its all a gamble at this stage, but i can do plenty well with $1599 in the next 8 months than lock it up for a product that doesn't exist yet, but if the gamble pays off then you will be richly rewarded.

On the discord channel some one posted a link concerning a privately funded ASIC that will not be for public sale.

And who knows what Chinese systems may be in development

The obelisk team deliberately did not make an announcement until they were well into development

Only one more week of it, got a few more I wanna buy, and then I'm fookin' the lot into cold storage for the rest of the year. Start again fresh every week, sell up and pull the profits every Friday.

Okay, putting my current portfolio away for the rest of the year. I still have a few satang to put into coins for the year.

I have these ones already:

BTC, BCH, ETH, DAS, LTC, REP, XRP, TRX, APPC, XZC, ZEC, DOG, EVX, GNO, OMG.

I'm currently on bx.in.th and Binance.

Looking for maybe another 3 that to buy and put away for the year.


Any recommendations? Thanks.
