for SEPA, no, it's free, you probably didn't read that

for the rest, Apple thing is only a few pennies, and for Thai banks, well it's Thai banks

Bitcoins are no different when you need to cash in, question of time before the exchange realize they have some money power and start overcharging for it

^You should probably ask your boiler room bosses in between fluffing them to even have the slightest clue as to what is going on

I am sure they are cold calling old ladies offering some rubbish and saying bitcoin this and bitcoin that

As obviously that is where you are getting your information

So how do you pick an exit point? Serious question

That's an extreme position. It certainly has value, its just being overvalued in a buying frenzy.

Me, I'm not really being too serious about it. Will see what everything is looking like in a year. Will see if me BTC goes tenfold in 2 or 3 years. If not might pull some or most of it, who knows, will see. If it does happen to go tenfold though, I'll probably pull 90% of it. Until then piss about with the other cryptos. Sanoook.

Fair enough. I guess what I'm asking is if everyone starts running for the exits do you just plan on holding through it?

Thinking about dropping a grand on some coins just so I can have fun and participate in this thread more. I don't really have any expectations or care about the money side of it.

Anyone have any recommendations for what wallet I should use on an Android phone? I did five minutes of research and am thinking of downloading mycellium.

Oh also am kicking around just crowd sourcing this and letting what people say here determine how I allocate my thousand bucks. Should be fun that way and there are people here who have clearly done more research than me and I really can't be arsed anyway for just a fun little nonsense project. I'm thinking about some LTC, a little BTC, some others?

Oh also any recommendations for best places to actually purchase the coins would be good. Looks like I can buy BTC through the Mycellium wallet but that's about it. Heard coinbase has a lot of fees.

I don't know anything about buying bitcoin, that is true

Its pretty basic questions that I think people here know the answers to though. Plus this is a forum/thread/crowdsourcing project not an investment so any questions I have will be directed here for those who have an interest

I suspect a great many of the Bitcoin owners are like myself and see Bitcoin as the exit strategy to the imminent collapse of fiat currency.

It should be obvious to anyone with even half a brain that central banking and fiat is finished.

I'll probably pull my BTC if it crashes to about 70% of what I put in.

The other cryptos I'll leave for years, never know, one of them might take off and I;m only putting in some of my btc returns now and again.

you do realize this is exactly what the Gold nutters used to say in 2009/2010, and look where they are now ?

are you seriously making this bitcoin thing some kind of exit strategy, because if you do, you are clearly delusional and have been drinking too much of your recycled hallucinogen urine

Against my better judgement i'm going to buy 10 LTC for a little gamble, so if in the UK who is best to use, was going to use Coinbase but reading above apparently the fees are high, so who do people recommend?

Just Google crypto exchanges UK or Europe

Then Google their name and reviews

    Standard operating procedure

And bypass astroturfing Belgian boiler room fluffers

I've bought 5 of them 3 times today and sold them twice, the latest 5 I bought just a few minutes ago for 9600. This is sheer madness obviously, but I've banked money and it's more exciting than playing Blackjack online

So, techno-gurus (Baldrick et al), what do you say to the possibility of Chinese 264 qubit quantum computer getting online and hacking the entire cryptocurrency?

This is pretty much old news. I think someone from the state department even said they might give it a try in the near future

Bitstamp is safe, but you have to convert to euros to buy. Dont buy LTC just now, wait for it to fall, and then buy, same with all the other cryptos, its a bull market, buy the dips, sell the highs, and don't sweat it if it continues rising, there will be another buying opp around the corner.
