    Kay ray Okay?

    Anybody go to karaoke places?
What do you think of them?

I have been to just a few a when a left butt hurt from getting ripped a new a$$hole, but I did enjoy my time there.

Most of the girl are between 18 and 22 and come give you massage or sing you song and try to get you to buy them more drinks.

But at the end of your 3 or 4 hour stay you usually get a bill for around 5000 baht weather you bring your own booze or not.

    Any fans here?
    Any horror stories?

very enjoyable. they had a great choice of songs, all the Blue numbers I sing so well and also Def Leppard which I dont sing so well.

and there was a nice corner of the room for making sexy time with the ladies.

total damage S$1800 for 6 of us. on expenses
Girls were PRC, local or Viet.

The Viets are the most playful

I do not understand the attraction of these places, I don't like singing, and enjoy it even less to listen t others who can't sing, never mind paying good money for the privilege.

Been dragged to places where my friends who'd struggle to earn 10k, including OT, happily spend 1-2 thousand during an evening.
    It's a mystery to me.

Then there the low-class road-side Karaoke's where you go with a group of friends to get pissed, usually no working girls there, but you may meet female locals in groups.
Now that isn't so damaging financially and a lot more fun, but still, I could do without some of the drunks who can't sing.
Usually get a headache after an hour or so.

I love getting really pissed and belting out a few tunes.
I sing like shit so everyone needs to be well oiled for it to work.

Sometimes I here those road side places from 100 mtrs. away and it still pierces my ears to hear of the awful sounds coming out.
Been to the private room ones a couple time and was blessed with a few girls that could sing pretty well.
I dont sing...... But i figure if the girl has a nice soinding voice its not so bad until the bill comes.

I don't sing, and rarely go to a karaoke.

But theres this rickety shack not far from where I live, surrounded by fields, nice rural feel to it. I reckon it would blow away in a strong wind.

I've been there a few times- Mrs likes to get up and sing Mow Lam, when we have Thai guests they enjoy it too. They do a nice Thai oxtail soup as well. Pretty cheap too- a bottle of sang som, soda and ice runs to about 320 Bht.

It's the only karaoke place I've been to that I can say I like- nice n' tatty.

    Can't stand them.

Boring entertainment. People that sing should be shot.
