    Hows this for a pic?

I had to drive out to the NT/WA border yesterday to take a photo of two signs 1 and a half hours apart (don't ask why) and on the way watched this huge storm from a distant. I took about 20 pics and managed to get this one.

Well, the light in your neck of the woods is spectacular even if the subject matter is a bit mundane.

Cheers mate. Yeah the light up here is always fantastic even with that storm bringing down trees just 10kms away at the time.

Wow, that photo is amazing, MeMock. Hate to ask a stupid question, but are you a professional photographer then? (I'm new, so I don't know that many people on this board quite yet.)

Great shot and great caption. 99 people from 100 would wait and try and take a picture of the lightning. 99 people would have a shit photo of the storm. One in a hundred nice odds.

    Not a stupid question Ginger.

I am not a professional at all, just lucky sometimes. Its just that there is no one around here that takes any decent pics for newspapers (plenty of professionals for magazines etc) so I get called upon from time to time to take some snaps for the city papers. Great money when it does happen. I got $550 (16,500 baht) for those two pics of the signs.
