Along the river in York there are many pubs. Always look at the outside brickwork which will show the regular flood level. Car parking is cheaper nearer the river!

One would also suggest that a pub along York's riverside would be used to flooding and fitted out accordingly.

The real problems are the sewers backing up, the rats invading the pub and the drunks being found drowned under the tables.
