    Earl,

    There are some brilliant inland roads that run between Pratchup Kiri Kan and Chumphon.

    They follow the beach all the way, good roads with little traffic.

    Holland is so flat you could roll a marble across it. Cycling popularity there is a given, due to the lack of gradient on their roads.

    Are they not more cycle friendly generally though ?

    I have never been myself just the kinda feeling I get from the pics over there ,, oh just remembered I have been ( once ) to dear old Amsterdam but was in the peak of my youth and interested in the other kind of bikes then
    I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs
