    I prefer felines..
Less trouble, as they're instinctively independent and [almost] loving.

    Connected and wired differently.

Dogs are predictable and create too much trouble - similar to ourselves.

I also prefer felines, but have had the pleasure to know some awesome dogs too. In our family we have a deaf chocolate lab, who is the bees knees!! And he potters around and everyone runs after him!! He doesn't hear danger coming.

Oh dear. i just watch those vids!!

I didn't realise that they put dogs in a sort of waiting room for death in America. That's sad.

Louis Theroux did a rather sad documentary about the errant dogs in LA.

Strange that because being white in the canine world is an indication of deafness. Reason why white boxers are normally destroyed on birth, as an example.

Dogs are just like kids, the end product is entirely due to how they are brought up irrespective of breed or in humans race .

Not according to the idiots on this thread. Pitbulls are known to be "hot wired" and have "jaws that lock." http://teakdoor.com/thailand-and-asi...l-pattaya.html (Foreigner wanted for killing pitbull in Pattaya)

Yeah I read the comments in the thread , Thats why I said race too , sure all Muslim Arabs are Suicide bombers too , what a load of bollox, I,ve had two pit bull type dogs and kept them from being 8 week old pups for over ten years each time , in all that time they never ever bit any one, and as I lived right next door to a big park /playing field the kids in the neighbourhood used to take them for walks with never any problems in over 20 years

All this talk of "natural born killer" Is poor fantasy , the African Cape hunting dog is one of the most vicious killers on the African Plains , and yet because they are now a threatened species and have been hunted to extinction in certain area's of Africa , a scientific experiment was tried with hunting dog pups which came from from the OKAVANGO DELTA in Botswana , they was kept in a huge compound over a thousand miles from Botswana until they was mature and then released into an area were game was plentiful but had no hunting dogs , and although game abounded within 2 months they all died of starvation because they had never had the benefit of learning from their parents , you watch a Cheetah mother how it brings live Thompsons Gazelle kids back to its cubs to teach them how to trip and kill their prey , I have kept racing greyhounds for well over 50 years and have lost count of the times I have seen that they would not even chase a rabbit never mind kill it .
