If Trump Were Running Against Clinton Today, Who Would Win?

It is looking more and more like it will be a Trump vs Hillary election next year. I hope not, but if it is, who would win and why?

It is reasonable to assume that the electorate is smarter than fox news thinks they are. The noisy illiterates behind Trump will not be anywhere near a voting booth. They will be too busy counting their thumbs

    Who will win? Clinton.

Why? Because she will get more electors.

Clinton would win. Clinton will win, in the absence of any substantive opposition.

Benghazi is a non-issue, as are her e-mails. Clinton would win.

Trump will be obliterated in the debates because he has no real grasp of the issues. He is a populist fascist who has churned up a following among the fearful and stupid but his own words will come back to haunt him in the general election. Hillary by a landslide.

Not much of a choice, but there has not been that in the US for decades. Sadly, nothing will change. Politics per usual.

    Benghazi is a dead issue.

If anyone tries to bring it up in a debate, Clinton will leave them trying wipe their arses with a wet tissue.

He makes Bush Jr. look like a Harvard professor.

Any low-grade comparative would apply, actually....

I've thought about this quite a bit and as you people know I usually shy away from expressing any opinion in politics only leads to a sad end.

    However....

I think most Americans are angry and afraid.

They're afraid because we're realizing things are well and truly fucked up. From schools to infrastructure things are not improving like things were when most of us who are voting age grew up.

We remember a strong America that was getting better every day and now are afraid that our children are going to grow up in a country that was less than what it was in the past.

We're angry because of the system hasn't worked in years. Our government is simply not functioning in a manner to remedy simple things, much less big things.

Trump is a loud mouth who doesn't hesitate to blame those he feels are the problem. He does it pointedly, no beating around the bush. He clearly articulates his ideas, with little care who might suffer. He gives Americans someone to blame for their problems, which is what an angry and and afraid person needs to justify their feelings to themselves.

Hillary's tack of blaming the repub congress ain't going to cut it. I think the majority of Americans only think Democrat or Republican at election time....rather than believing the government can be forced to act in a manner that's not best for the country.

Trump would win today, hands down. He's gives us someone to blame.

You first deal with the problem by acknowledging it.
Next step has to be a revolution.

If the US population stands up and stops this shit done in their names by shady corporations the global fix up will be well on its way.
