This guy is a snake expert. Gets bit and locked on the nose and they didn't have any whiskey - which is what you pour on the snake to release.

    Don't try this at home:

Shortly after we arrived last night the girlfriend shrieked (after realizing who it was she asked if we could leave it in the house),..

I gently showed it the way out.

Far as I can figure, it (who has been around the house for years) made its way into the house the other day while someone was working here (leaving the door open).

They are great to have around the house, but not so much in the house running free.

That would indeed be pretty scary.

I've been in a narrow soi sitting in heavy traffic while motorists ahead were trying to coax a huge python across the road. It was lying right across and nobody wanted to drive over it.
A motorbike taxi guy then took charge and four of them managed to rouse the docile serpent into slithering off.

Bloody pythons, they think they own the fucking place

Didn't the Thais pump milk into young ladies and bind them spread-open, then release snakes to sup deep inside their private places, fore and aft?...

I don't know about that but a few years ago a gay guy in NZ had to have a live eel pulled from his arse at the hospital. He put it up there and couldn't get it out.

Dog was barking at the outside shoe rack last week and I kneeled down and found myself a foot from this guy. Thinking it was a rat snake, I moved the rack and tried to shoo him down the street with a broom. He reared up and started hissing, and it was a quick change to a deadly game when I realized it was a Cobra. With all the kids, dogs, and people coming and going, we killed him. It was one beautiful and deadly animal. The dog must have gotten a bite at him as the snake was quite agitated. Lucky we still have the dog, as I have two friends that have lost dogs to snake bites. Ten years in Thailand and this was my first encounter with a Cobra.

    Pardon my ignorance, thailazer

But is this corbra's bite lethal to an adult (meaning you) if it would have bit you?

Very lethal if you don't get to a hospital and receive anti-venom and other attention. He was full of venom and was striking continuously. I didn't have to a chance to get a photo of his head flared out as we were quite busy with the whole affair. I took a photo when I still thought he was a rat snake, but I was still wary as I always am with snakes, not being an expert.
