    Is Stroller alone here?

Is Stoller the only German on the Teakholz door? I asked myself frequently that, because it seems strange that, while Thailand with Germans is full, and that Germans are a large relationship farang of the community, to be Mr. Stoller seems only the present in the cyber world of the ex-Klapsneckerei. Is like that?
    Not sure...

I think Fabian and Robin, and someone yet unnamed, speak fluent German.
Herman lives in Germany as well.

I don't know many Germans in Thailand, but the only one who I invited to TD, doesn't believe me that it isn't the same old farts with their 20 year younger girls as on TV (his words).

Hehe, in fact my grandmother on my father side was german from Schwarzwald but married a swiss german. On my mother side my ancestors came from Italy centuries ago crossing the Alps from the Aosta valley.

Switzerland is such a small country and its history is done from alliances and unions with other small regions (became "cantons") since 1291, so nearly every swiss is from foreign or mixed origine.

Our bleedin' Royal family is German. Don't be fooled by that Windsor surname, they changed it during WW I to distance themselves from their war-mongering rellies. Their real surname is Saxe Coburg Gotha.

But I s'pose you could say the English are really Germans with a touch of Scandanavian thrown in.

Add a few drops of Celt, Roman and French while we're at it.

Puts an odd perspective on the "foreigners-out" slogans, eh?

At least they are 'White', that must be a relief.

I'm as white as white can be but my grandfathers surname originates from some rivers and towns in Baluchistan, NWFP and Iran... Strange but true...
They champion falsehood, support the butcher against the victim, the oppressor against the innocent child. May God mete them the punishment they deserve
