Very impressive but very frightening and I wonder if he has mirrors or feels invincible.
Useful way to identify the driver fleeing the scene
..I was waiting for a car door to open or a spoilt hi-so kid to plough into him
I think the Pro Cam makes it look scarier than it is. The guy is obviously an experienced cyclist. But I don't think he's in any danger due to the slowness of traffic. If you ever watch a playback of your own Dash-cam in heavy traffic it will seem faster than what your really traveling. The same applies to the spaces between vehicles. They look much closer than they really are.

Never assume you know someone by a video.
I actually can't stand most cyclists as they think they have the God given right to rule the road. I know the score on the roads here but I don't consider myself a 'know it all' cyclist. In Bangkok, the bigger your vehicle, the more right of way you have, so I am very aware my place in the Bangkok traffic food chain!
Thanks for posting my video Chitty, and thanks to whoever posted the link!
I made a load more videos but the editing was a bit time consuming, but you are all right, I did get knocked off eventually (by a police car!) 😂 Unfortunately the cam had ran out of battery so no footage of it.

Hope you have a solid Insurance policy mate.
Just sayin like.

You do know that if you get run over and have no Insurance no one will give a flying fuk .
Least of all, other Ex-Pats.

Would have liked to see that video and the Thai police explanation.Originally Posted by RubyBlues

We've just had one member cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats and there's a Teakdoor North to South Thailand members cycle ride planned at some point in the future.
Gotta go, stay safe.

Well done on that ride! Interesting he got knocked off by a cop as I had one pass me and turn right into me at the apartment I was living at in Chiang Mai. I met him in the elevator and I asked if he had seen me get hit. Totally denied it, but I knew he saw me as he had to pass me to turn in.
