A British man has been arrested for allegedly killing a German man he caught filming his young daughter in a restaurant at a Spanish resort.
The 40-year-old has been held on suspicion of homicide after attacking a 43-year-old in Sotogrande on Spain's Costa del Sol on Saturday night.
The victim had been charged with possession of child pornography days earlier, but it is not known if the British man knew that.

The girl's father approached the man after seeing him filming with a tablet device, a source with the Civil Guard police force in Algeciras said.
'He took the tablet off him, saw that there were recordings of his daughter, and that was when the attack took place,' he said.

The source said no weapons were involved in the attack. The German man later died in hospital.
Police are waiting for the results of an autopsy to determine his cause of death.
The British man left the restaurant after the attack but was later arrested when witnesses identified him to police.

He is in police custody and will soon appear before a magistrate in the nearby town of La Linea de la Concepcion.
The source said it was thought that the two men did not know each other.
With big houses and golf courses overlooking the blue waters of the Mediterranean, Sotogrande is one of the most upmarket resorts in a southern region popular with British tourists.

Tax, Sotogrande was originally a gated community where only the wealthy and those much enamoured of golf and flopping about on expensive boats would reside. Things haven't changed that much and even in the great property crash that has blighted Spain generally it manages quite well.

Currently air temp is 14c with a humidity of 60% and the sun shines - perfect for February and Id be quite content to live there although the distaff might object.

That chap must have been quite useful with his hands - quite a few hard cases live there.

I hope he was astute enough for his children not to witness the act.

Well, Tax, with the exception of my grounds and those of my neighbouring development, Pattaya may not have the manicured infrastructure of Sotogrande but it certainly makes up for it with the Essex and Northern tribes who appear to be well represented here.
