English Teacher In Hot Water After Teaching Students How To Make A Millwall Brick

An English teacher living in the Thai capital of Bangkok, is in trouble with authorities at his school this morning after he was reported to have taught his students how to make the ultimate football weapon - a Millwall Brick.

Mr Monk, 49 last Sunday, got right down to basics on Monday after a lesson he had planned went tragically wrong, when he forgot what he was going to teach.
Thinking on his feet, and having football on his mind, the aging hooligan came up with his favourite 10-minute activity involving a newspaper - the aforementioned Brick.
Spotting an old broadsheet edition of the Bangkok Post lying on a nearby desk, he leapt into action.
As his students watched with uncommon interest, Mr Monkey, as he is affectionately known, laid out the newspaper for all to see, and folded it lengthwise again and again until he had rolled up the entire paper, then bent the result in half, so that it was in the shape of a baton.

Every experiment needs a testing stage, and this one was no different. Monk took the finished Brick and brought it down swiftly on the bonce of one of the smaller students in the class for maximum effect, and there were howls of laughter as the unfortunate youngster slumped to the floor with a sickening thud.
Later, however, the headmaster of the school criticised Mr Monk for his approach, saying:
"This kind of thing is normally undertaken by the proper school authorities - myself! I shall be looking at Mr Monkey's 'invention' closely, and may incorporate it into my own arsenal of 'disciplinary weapons' in the future.

    thats because it didn't happen.

It is a good example though of how all press work. Something gets put on their desk, they don't research or question it, and simple publish it. Seems that PDN has taken it down now.... most of the bigger media firms never bother.

not when it was published in the newspaper that the link went to. I read that this morning and thought it was bollocks before it went up on here.

Move along gay boys - no purple sequinned high heels for your on try on?

Also - there are quite a few places down here that sells saveloys. It would not be that uncommon.

Correcting you on the fact that it was actually in the paper, and no way it was meant as satire.

I never said it wasn't in the paper. I said it was obvious satire. And that it was in the PDN.

Your dickness really is rather strong.

It was in the paper. They even printed the bloody thing. It was not as a satire, it was as a REAL STORY.

    Q. What do these two things have in common: the PDN; and pseudo?

    A. They're both unable to spot painfully obvious satire.

    Q. What do those two things not have in common?

    A. The PDN at least has the good sense to realise their mistake and remove the link instead of continuing to attempt to dine on the foot in their mouth and call it a saveloy.
