Let's talk aout sox, Hose who needs 'em

Do you sport plain or paisley?
    striped or hatched?
    Novelty items
    Long or shrt
    Wool or Cotton
    None except with sandals

As winter looms in the Northern slopes I'll dig into my closet see if any remain for biking

I swear, I read this thread as "Let's talk about sex, hoes.. who need 'em"

    I need glasses...

Without 'socks' your feet will sweat = not cool... depends on the shoe.. gym shoes, short/sport socks (with just a tiny bit of sock visible)

Formal shoes = formal socks (usually black or grey) socks... think comfy...

Sandals? who the fook wears those? nah... if you do.. no socks, lest you look like a sad nerd.

Gray wool crew socks for those cold mornings. Or in the mountains.

Cotton ankle socks for coolish days. Worn in the house or out with real shoes. Never sandals.

My socks are already out. There were a couple of cold mornings last month, one of which
I had to stay outside from 4:30 am to get my Visa renewed at Promenada. Dug out the scarfs, thermals, and socks for the event.

    I don't like socks.

    Can we talk about shirts?

Hello, well that was the sound of Rogers Wah Wah Rabbits
You heard them eating endive there
Thats very cheap at this time of the year
But now here in Willesden Green, yes, brr, its a bit chilly
But no matter, because here comes a gentleman
And were going to talk to him about shirts

    Excuse me, sir
Would you mind talking to us about shirts?
Do what? About shirts, shirts? Yes
Cause Ive got plenty at home, good grief

And here comes a lady with an enchanting little kangaroo
And Im going to ask her something about shirts
No, Im not because shes given me a rather a vulgar sign

Would you excuse me, would you mind, were talking about shirts?
Huh? About shirts, shirts? Yes, the problem of shirts
The kind of, um, you know, are they necessary? Shirts
Where it is, where it is, yes, where is shirts?
I dont know, you dont know

Um, oh dear, theres a gentleman marching down here with
A very determined stride, he looks a little cautious, hes hopping
Excuse me, sir, would you mind talking to me for a moment at all?
Uh, uh, what do you mean, guvnor? What do you want to know?
Well, were talking about shirts, about are they still necessary?
Do you think? I mean, do you think they should
They stop making shirts? Oh, no, not at all, a mans not Dr
Not dressed unless hes got a nice shirt on, governor, is he?
Not really, I suppose, what about the lengths of the shirt?
Because the old ones used to be very long
Well, Im more for the short shirt, the old types old-fashioned, mate
Gotta be a bit modern these days, governor, aint yer? Yes
Well, youre certain with it, anyway?
Well, youve got to be with it, of course. Its, uh
Yes, right, okay, well, thank you very much
See you, right, ho, bye, bye, bye, bye

Well, I think were going to have to leave it there
And Im going to take you right away straight over
To the Earls Court Olympia to watch the shirt event
Ill repeat that, the shirt event, Ill repeat that
The shirt event, Ill repeat that, the shirt event
Ill repeat that, the shirt event

    Good morning, could I have
    This shirt cleaned express, please?
Yes, thatll be three weeks, dearie, three weeks?
But the sign outside says 59-minute cleaners
Yes, thats just the name of the shop, luv
We take three weeks to do a shirt
Just the name of the shop?
Yes, thats if theres an R in the month
    Otherwise its four weeks
Your name does begin with a P, doesnt it?
Well, no, actually, of course its, uh
Well, thatll be five weeks, then, five weeks?

    Blimey

Puma white cotton tennis socks, little different coloured ones with hearts, scottie dogs, owls etc.

And i have some of those socks with rubber bits on the bottom so you don't slip on wooden floors.

It's 20 degrees here today, so i am airing my feet. Later i shall put socks on to go down the pub.

I think my mum bought them in Marks and Spencers, and they do have man sizes too. My brother wears them.

Slipper socks. Toddlers wear them too, usually on their hands too!!
