    i cure my own bacon and ham, to be recommended . just cooking some bacon now, and have a large two kl ham to cook tomorrow. i use a sugar salt mix, never used that much sugar so will give that a try over the next few weeks. so easy cant understand why the brits dont cure there own bacon and ham.
