Booked my return ticket yesterday with Royal Jordanian from Heathrow to BKK Only 368 quid.
    I found it on skyscanner.net
The other offers were all 500 quid plus.

Anyone looking for cheap flights should also try Flight Centre.

Not knowing the conversion rates, I booked my flight back to Thailand via EVA AIR from LAX to BKK for $494.80 US. I do not mind flying Thai Airways, but they are usually a bit expensive.

I will be checking flights on Thai Airways from BKK to Udon and I am hoping for a reduced rate.

I like flying out of Swampy to avoid the cross city taxi ride to Don Muang. Also, I don't usually get hit with a baggage fee either. I have tried making a reservation on Lion Air a couple of times for 625 baht, but had problems with their website. Air Asia quoted $22 US from Don Muang to Udon as well, but charge $13 for 1 bag and I also have to pay taxi fare.

After flying all day, I am almost happy to pay the extra not having to take the cab ride and get hit by baggage fees. I do fly Nok Air fairly often. Are they flying out of Swampy now?

He is using the forum for one of its core purposes. The exchange of information, which others can use or add to.
It's probably a direct flight which some travelers prefer, and it is still below the majority of fares available through popular search engines.

Ahh you can get that price any day from Thai Air

It's just their standard extortionate one way fare. Add the return leg in and you suddenly see that it is not such a great deal after all.

We got our flights for £460 only problem with this kiss 50% of your air miles goodbye.
Sometimes on promotion fares they don't give any.

A one way fare can be had for less than that, but the best priced return is no where near as low as you suggest.

    You are being a dick.

A big plus of Thai and perhaps the only one is checking all your bags to a final detination inside Thailand precious few airlines have this option all though there are code shares and of course Korean to CNX and Qatar etc to Phuket.

The hassle of airport transfer is why I pay 1500-2k extra from Swampy after a long haul sometimes,as for value for money service,Thai have along way to go

I paid £228 return in July with Transaero premier sadly and perhaps due poor pricing they are no longer flying.

I believe that quoted fare is OW, Chaz.
As Sid has shown above, it doesn't work out to be a decent value......as it usually is the case pertaining to long-haul flights.

Nothing wrong sharing info, it's a forum helping each other out.

My understanding is it's return, yep it's pricey but some folks like to travel Thai for their missus.

You on the other hand have been here a week and done nothing but troll.

    What's a shill PRIKkus.

Yes the price quoted is a return fare, and we fly Thai because Gert likes to use her national airline Thai.
And £460 direct is a good price thanks for the heads up.

If you have a valid visa (marriage, retirement, work) then they will let you board the flight. If you do not and only have a tourist visa typically they will want to see a return tickets, or your bookings of a route taking you out of the kingdom at the end of your agree tourist time.
