I don't have problem with older women having affairs and sleeping around, perfectly understandable, but I do have a problem with those who start acting like teenage girls and focus all their social life on facebook and LINE.

all her friends are probably bragging on Facebook PMs and LINE how many cocks they have sucked already, that's actually part of the problem. They start with FB and then they go to online dating sites to have fun like their friends, until they catch something they like. It's like saying I go to Cowboys but I don't enter the gogos. Just a question of time before you do.

You are correct Dragonfly. They always go back to the Thai guy even though they try and tell you 'Thai men no good'. A Thai guy knows how to say the right words to a lonely Thai lady. As much as some are a waste of space they know how to smooth talk a women. I've never met a married Thai woman that hasn't got a Thai boyfriend when back here on holiday without the farang husband.

Nail on head Chitty. It doesn't really matter what nationality your wife is, once they start going through menopause, hold on to your hat. It will be a bumpier ride for some and I am just hoping for minimal impact with my 36 year old spouse. If my wife gets on the moody streak, I just go somewhere out of site an leave her alone.

Luckily, my wife does not socialize with other expat wives and I think that is a blessing. Once they get together and start comparing what each of them have, someone will always have more than the others. I get told what other wives have and I have to remind my wife what she has now compared to what she had before she met me. They need a reality check from time to time.

No real solution unless you can dictate who she spends time with, which most of us can not. If you have a man cave to hide in, that may help to weather the storm. Good luck, but just know it is not exclusive to Thai women. I would be interested in hearing how Japanese women handle menopause differently if someone here is married to one. Same same everywhere IMO.

Smoking and surgery can produce earlier menopause but the main driver is genetic.
