What a bunch of kvnts.

While the tech is good, intuitive and well designed, their philosophy is that of satan.

They now will not create an Apple ID without a credit card.

So that means that they bar you from downloading free apps from independent sources unless you give them credit card details.

So they take your cash for the product - and then it doesn't work unless you give the shitheads your bank details.

Shit should be illegal.

So fvck apple - back to android.

Downloaded Windows 10 yet? If not then you're in for an unpleasant surprise...

PC is running XP SP2 with all updates switched off.

I downloaded Win10 at work, and now half my apps don't work as they don't have the right licenses - even when I tell the machine not to check licenses and turn everything off it still 'knows'...

I found out by doing it - but just google that shit.

It beats the crap out of other products by a country mile.

I was an avowed pc/samsung man until my last company flooded me with Apple products.
My MacBook Air is brilliant - hardware unbeatable by anyone . . . software? Not so much, plus I use Microsoft Office on it.
Dropped it from about four feet - a dent, nothing else. Hardware - fantastic

iPhone - show me a better one. Not in terms of advanced software, but in quality build, again.

iPad - don't like the things but I gave it to my 9-year old - she likes it. Dropped numerous times - still works

iPod - quality again. Style again

You do raise a good point, though - when these companies become intrusive to the extent that nothing can be done without giving away your personal details . . .
