My happy little lady from Issan has been scratching her right hand this week telling me , " I am gonna win honey "

So she has been buying a scapcard ( scratch card ) each day for £3 , I told her what a waste of money them bloody things are , and she just got her £3 back on Tuesday .

Yesterday I got a phone call just before she went to work

" I gonna teat you honey ! I gonna teat you !

Turns up the taxman has been looking back at her last 3 years tax payments and has very kindly sent her a rather nice four figure sum on a cheque in the post .

Now what is the first thing that comes into her little head ? not to go and buy a bloody designer handbag or clothes to put alongside her collection , no its what she can buy for me .

" I'm gonna buy you a new com for xmas " now what we are talking about here is a 27" iMac , a four figure sum on its own .

" Oh no your not ! " no way on this planet would I let her spend that kinda dough on me .

So I have settled for a 4 pack of draught guiness + a Chinese takeaway this Sat night.

Oh and she insists on filling the car up .
