Your thoughts.
Are they enforcing "Arrival Screening" in KL?
They are in Chiangi.
Serious unrest among passengers.
Poor little Singaporean police (security) trying to placate irate transit passengers.
All a bit over the top IMHO

What is security in it's purest form...??
Enemies of design?
What bugs me is it's all duplication.
You're checked on to the flight a number of times and then Singapore rips you to bits when you land.
There really needs to be some cooperation between these bozos.
Chiang Rai did me this morning for having 2 cigarette lighters!
"New rules today"
Had a couple of recent trips to KL with Air Asia. Immigration at KL was a breeze. If you want to be seriously and royally screwed, try Mumbai.
It is what it is...
I've transitted quite a few times in Mumbai and Delhi over the last couple of years.
It is indeed a total pain in the arse.
Not just the repetition but the stupidity of how they 'organise' it and dismal understaffing.
It's not just a matter of having to accept it as a modern day inevitability...if it's an inevitability and you perform the same operation thousands of times a day then get it uniform and fucking logically organised so people go through in a flow...not backwards, sideways and fuck knows where.
Bastards all need proper colonisation. Teach them how to do things civilly.
Virtually the only place in the region that we did not colonise officially, and look how that turned out. I blame the bloody French.

On the way out, they remove all cans of Guiness from your bags, hands and bunghole. They do this in sight of a bar, where you can restock.
I understand the view that my cheap cans might have been tampered with, and that they should be taken from me within sight of a bar willing to replenish my depleted stocks at thrice the price.
Never took the clothes i was wearing.
Why?
Because they can?
Because they can can?
