Cheap watch brands (not copies) in Thailand.

I'm looking to buy 10 cheap watches.

Between 3k baht and 10k baht per watch is okay.

Copies of high end brands aren't wanted, but cheap genuine brands. For example Casio watches, cheap but dependable known brand.

    They aren't needed to impress.

What other brands are out there besides Casio in the 3k-10k bracket?

Budget for the ten is about 100k baht, could be stretched to 150k, less would also be acceptable if the brand is well known.

    Cheers.

I have a Pulsar PS2004. Auto no batteries. I wouldn't get anything else. I buy on the net. Let me know if anyone finds in Thailand, thanks.

You may be able to get a Michael Kors within that bracket which should be popular back home

Other brands that should sell well would be your designer watches like Armani etc.

    They're all garbage though IMO

A case in point with these designer watches...

Apparently Fossil have a Chinese factory that knocks out watches for.....

Burberry, DKNY, Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, Columbia Sportswear, Diesel, Frank Gehry, Karl Lagerfeld, Callaway Golf, Davis Cup, Marc Jacobs and Adidas.

Got 4 Seikos all in great working order. A bit like the Toyota Hilux of watches, really. They just keep going on and on..

    Fantastic machinery for the price.

Since you are asking I wear a gold Rolex day/date bought in 1991 for just over £6k
Not bad value - I could sell it today for not much short of that.

Eric Clapton is a Patek man - he collects them.

The Citizen Eco watches are the best for Thailand. No battery, powered by light, no problems with humidity and go swimming wearing it.

I've got a Casio that I paid 5K for 6 years ago and it's still running fine. I've had to replace the battery about once every 18 months or so.
