Living in Chiang Mai there are so many farang here that it it not an unusual sight, however one time when I was in Ubon Ratchathani with my brother we were driving down one of the main roads and some stupid whitey was traveling along side of us waving and hollering, it was embarassing. I think he was Danish.

^^ No, when we stopped at the lights I wound down the window (which wanker was it that called that procedure - cycling the window?) and found out he just wanted to say g'day.

Do you smile and nod at other whities?

    Only if I fancy her.

Have to say I concur with Davis. Unless formally introduced by friends I steer clear.

Nope never do, most white people are scum.

I did have this Turd spark up a conversation with me in my local 24/7 store, being polite I obliged the bastard.

Next thing I know he tries to hand me an invitation to his fookin " Jehovah Witness " club.

I was tossing up whether to knock that coont out.

Anyway, after that little encounter all White people can get fooked, Except the ones I like of course.

If I'm passing somebody much older than me in the street I'll often smile and say "how's it going old pal", I do it more to make them feel comfortable and less intimidated by my bulk, I don't bother with younger guys and at times even toss them a menacing glance depending upon their demeanour.

    Op sponsors a thought.

If that 'farang' was a 22 year old, 5'10 blonde, buxom female with a vociferous and eviscerating eye intent on undressing the op would it be as offensive as a middle aged sweaty, pot bellied male who just looked as drab as him and waved?

Depends on the kunt, for me. And the scenario... Some people I can see are kunts from a mile away and the others take time to show their kunt faces

Most geezers here keep their heads down when I pass the , some kind of guilt for the girl 30 years younger their banging. No matter, the less kunts I have to deal with the better, as my dear mom used to say.. Oh also, die young, stay pretty...

I don't smile but nod My head and say hello, then chat away and then eventually bring up the subject of Teakdoor, ask them if they post on here, if they say no I then describe TD as a super friendly forum and the great posters they could meet on here.

The same in reverse. My wife just told me this story. She was riding the bus here in Berlin, when a Thai lady started talking to her. My wife just smiled and nodded. The Thai kept talking until my wife told her she is Filipina and does not understand a word, she just likes hearing Thai language as it sounds like music.

I've even recommended Teakdoor to guys going on their first holiday to Thailand, telling them that's it's a great site full of helpful posters that will willingly impart their advice and wisdom in helping a two week stayer on his first holiday .
Then I recommend that they buy a copy of "Still Money Number One " by Neil Hutchison.
Just trying to be helpful, to newbies.

What a happy lot of expats we have here.

I say hello to everyone even the soi dogs, I also ask Thais what they've ate and where there going and tell them its cold or hot, nothing like a bit of idle chatter.

I even let the locals look in our shopping bags and tell them how much we spent at the supermarket.

The OP comes from korat i believe, there all miserable ferkers there
