Plain rude? or am i being a little too PC??

I'm shocked, or maybe i am being too PC ....

Last night, in the hotel elevator there was an Australian couple (with the strong Brit/Posh accent)... and myself and another couple. Got to the fourth floor mand two Indian fellas got in, but the buzzer went off.

Thus they jumped off, now usually this si the cue for a fat joke.... but the Aussie fella stood in the doorway and roared at them "No Indians allowed" - the others in the elevator laffed....

    I was horrified....

I know he meant it as a joke, but it was in pretty poor taste, what to do you think?

i was in a hotel elevator in bangkok with a friend.

then this huge fat american fella got in. and i mean huge. lift buzzer goes off. he raises his eyebrows and gives a 'not again' look of despair at me and steps out.

The lift was designed to carry approx 9 people.

i didnt say anything rude though, just shrugged my shoulders a bit and gave him a look that i hope communicated 'these thai lifts, what can ya do, eh?'.

but anyway i think the people in your thread were terribly rude and it would serve them right if the indians cut the lift cable and sent them hurtling to their deaths

I had met them earlier and they insisted they were aussie (sounds like the sort that refused the referendum a few years back to become a republic!)

I would have been more worried about the smell from their armpits than how heavy they were.

I met an Aussie once who had a proper educated Brit accent, he even had a proper job here with one of the petrol companies, suppose he must have gone to the UK for his education though.

Perhaps he was half Aussie. A 50 % dose of pure anglo-saxon blood can make the Aussie- violent, criminal, thick, Irish, racist- genes- less dominant.

Yeah I always dread the flight from BKK - San Francisco. Always loads of Indians on board but I've been fortunate enough not to have had to sit next to one of them. Haven't they heard of deodorant? I guess they prefer their own stench. I always say a little praise to God when a hot Jap sits in the seat next to me instead.

Actually in pure number terms the majority were for the republic, but the referendum failed on a state basis.
Only bloody pommie immigrants want Australia to remain part of the commonweallth so they can still get two pensions.

I went to Calcutta a long while ago, and it wasn't so bad on the plane, but walking around the town was a real eye opener.
And riding in a cab with no AC is an experience I'd rather forget.

Less dominant but far more effective!
